BEST BOOK SERIES OF MY LIFE. Kerstin does a fantastic job with creating a scene and illustrating the interactions of her characters. I felt angry when her characters did and I was sitting there laughing out loud when something good happened for the heroine. Ruby Red is the first of a series of 3 (the second being Sapphire Blue and the third being Emerald Green- which regrettably has not been published in English yet). It is originally written in German and has been translated into 17 languages (if the back cover of my book is to be believed).
